What to expect from the procedure

The journey starts with an appointment that includes a 3D CT scan and clinical photos, followed by a mock-up that previews your result. Only once you approve the design do we move on to tooth preparation and digital impressions. Temporary veneers stay in place until the final ones are bonded, usually within two to three weeks.

Longevity and maintenance

Ceramic veneers last 10-15 years on average with proper home hygiene and routine check-ups. Composite veneers need polishing every 12-18 months and are easier to replace. Avoid biting hard objects (ice, pens) and tell your dentist if you grind your teeth: a night guard is almost always recommended for bruxism.

What drives the aesthetic outcome

Final colour depends on shade selection, material translucency and the tone of adjacent teeth. If you plan to whiten, do it before the veneers: veneer colour will not change with whitening treatments. Gum health matters too: inflamed tissue alters the smile line and makes the veneer margin less predictable.
